Larry Parke has over nineteen
years experience in the Information Technology industry with focus on data
and voice networks. At the BTC he serves as the Senior Network Engineer.
In this capacity Larry designs, configures and maintains all WAN links and
equipment for all SSHEnet sites including Internet/Internet2 gateways. He
manages all BTC monitoring, alarms, bandwidth utilization, graphing, intrusion
detection, firewalls and network analysis systems. He also manages all physical
resources including power, environmental, physical security, fire suppression, PBX,
VoIP, and redundant systems. He develops and maintains documentation, including
schematics, for all network operations and resources. Larry provides troubleshooting
support and training services to SSHEnet site personnel.
